Dorothy H. (Dot) Wood

Dorothy H. (Dot) Wood, age 80, of Conyers, formerly of Cumming passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. Dot was a caring and kind mother, grandmother and sister who loved making those around her feel important. She was admired by many for her sense of style, especially her love of footwear.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, R. Todd and Carol Wood of Social Circle; grandsons, Joseph Tod (J.T.) Wood, Tristan Wood; sisters, Betty A. Harris of Cumming, Ruby Harris Adcock of Cumming; brother, Roy Harris of Douglasville; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 11, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Pearrell officiating. Interment will follow at Coal Mountain Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Gateway Community Church in Covington, GA.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
