Marlene A. Sagnelli

Marlene A. Sagnelli passed away November 5, 2016.  Loving daughter of Anna and William Morganstern.  She was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut where she met her husband of 64 years.  They resided in Darien, Connecticut until relocating to Cumming, Georgia in 2015.

She spent her life as a stay at home mom until her children were grown, then beginning a career in the food service industry, first with the Darien public school system, followed by Conoco Oil Company and Champion International until her retirement at the age of 67.

She is survived by her husband Richard J. Sagnelli, Sr.; daughter, Donna A. Sagnelli; son and daughter in law, Richard J. Sagnelli, Jr and Lynne Sagnelli; son and daughter in law, Keith J. Sagnelli and Anne Witkavitch; three grandchildren, Melanie Jordanopoulos and her husband Peter Jordanopoulos, Keegan Sagnelli and Nico Sagnelli; four great grandchildren, Peter Jordanopoulos, Michael Jordanopoulos, Eleni Jordanopoulos and Dimitri Jordonopoulos.

She loved and cherished her entire family.  She will be missed by all who knew and loved her, She brought joy to all the lives she touched.

Funeral services will be held at McDonald and Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Dr, Cumming, GA at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Interment will follow the service at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens, 1390 Dahlonega Hwy, Cumming, GA.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday From 11:00 – 1:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home
