Mary Lou Barnett

Mrs. Mary Lou Barnett, age 85, of Nicholson, GA died Friday, November 4, 2016 at her residence.  Mrs. Barnett was born in Nicholson to the late Leonard and Myrtle Pace Sanders.  She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse “Sport” Barnett.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by her sons, Tony Barnett of Commerce, Trey Barnett and Todd Barnett both of Nicholson; brothers, Charles Sanders of Pendergrass and Doug Sanders of Bremerton, WA; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Monday, November 7 at Antioch United Methodist Church with Dr. David Bowen and Rev. Marshall Bruner officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 5 to 7 PM.
