Sara L. Kirby

Sara L. Kirby, age 71 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016.  She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Katie Collett; brothers, Charles Collett, Byron Collett, Jimmy Collett.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald Kirby of Jasper; children, Rodney and Pam Pearson of Commerce, Melissa and Steve Darnell of Cumming; David and Jennifer Pearson of Cumming, Jay Kirby of Powder Springs; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Linda Collett; 8 grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 6^th at 2:00 pm at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Powell, Rev. Alan Sutton and Rev. Rex Byrd, officiating.  Interment will follow in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am until hour of service.
