Mary (Mickie) McMenamin, a long-time resident of South Pasadena, FL died November 2, 2016 at Seasons Hospice in Cumming, GA.
Mickie graduated from Penn State University and was a devout Nittany Lions fan. She spent the majority of her career as an elementary school teacher in Medford, NJ. After her retirement from teaching, she moved to Florida and later became a County Commissioner in Pinellas County.
She married Jack McMenamin in 1963, had two daughters, and spent many blissful years with him until he died in 2007.
Mickie had a zest for life and a vibrant personality. She enjoyed socializing with her friends, sailing, politics, attending church, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Karyn Cravens, her husband, David Cravens, and their daughter, Kathleen, of Cumming, GA and her daughter, Marie McMenamin, and her husband, Eddie Cannon, of Marietta, GA.
Her family will hold a service at St. Brendan's Catholic Church 4633 Shiloh Rd. Cumming, GA on Thursday November 10th at 12:00 PM.
