Teresa Ailene Ledford-Goss

Funeral services for Teresa Ailene Ledford-Goss, age 44 of Anderson, South Carolina, will be held graveside on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.  Rev. Doug Goss and Rev. Tim Holcomb will officiate.

Mrs. Goss passed away Friday, October 28, 2016.

Born in Franklin, North Carolina on March, 3, 1972 Mrs. Goss was the daughter of Larry Addison Ledford and Janice Hodgin Ledford.  After graduating from Piedmont College, Mrs. Ledford was a teacher in the Hart County School System.  She last taught in the Pickens County South Carolina School System at Liberty High School where she was named Teacher of the Year.  She also received the "Outstanding Program Award" for South Carolina from the  South Carolina Division of Career Development  and Transition, for her program, The "I" Team.  This is a prestigious award through the Council for Exceptional Children.  Mrs. Goss was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, Easley, South Carolina.

Mrs. Goss is preceded in death by maternal grandfather Clarence Hodgin and paternal grandparents Howard and Eva Ledford. 

Survivors include her parents Larry Addison Ledford and Janice Hodgin Ledford of Clarkesville, daughters Bailey Addison Goss and Madison Graham Goss of Anderson, South Carolina, sister and brother in law Kaye and Ron May of Hull, and grandmother Ailene Hodgin of Dewey Rose.
