Judy Melissa Allison

Judy Melissa Allison, age 67, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016.  Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who loved taking care of children.  She was born January 6, 1949 to the late Newman and Wyline Mathis. Judy was a member of the last graduating class of the old Chestatee High School and a member of Crossroads Baptist Church.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and all who loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Shorty Allison; son Chris Allison; granddaughter, Shelby Allison; sisters, Phyllis Arrington, Mary Barron, all of Cumming; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry and Brenda Allison, Phillip and Kathy Allison of Gainesville, Bobby and Mary Benifield of Chestnut Mountain, Betty Oliver of Clermont; and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Keith Martin, Rev. Donnie Nix and Rev. Shad Faulkner officiating.  Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
