Matthew Adam Hester

Mr. Matthew Adam Hester age 23 of Clayton passed away October 18, 2016 from injuries attained in a automobile accident.

A son of Betty Hester Head and the late Orville Fisher, he was born on April 3, 1993 in Thomasville, North Carolina having lived most his life in Stephens County. He lived the last three months in Clayton, Georgia where he was a manager and chef at the Sunday Dinner Restaurant and a member of Safe Harbor Church of God.

Survivors include his mother Betty Hester Head and step-father Donald Finley of Clayton, a brother Jonathon Hester of Clayton, three step-sisters Angel Finley of Trinity, North Carolina, Kayla Finley of Demorest, Georgia and Breanna Finley of Clayton, Fiancé Paige Rholetter and her son Anthony Rholetter of Alto, Georgia, grandmother Ruth Hester of Toccoa and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday October 25, 2016 at 2 P.M. at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Reverend Barry Looper and the Reverend Mitchell Looper officiating. The family will be at the home of Ann Shirley 1554 Falls Road, Toccoa and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

Interment will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Tyler Williams, Terry Scroggs, Josh Scroggs, Paul Craig, Joseph Howard, Tommy Carrell, Aaron Rutledge and Michael Hester.

Acree-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Matthew Adam Hester.
