Leslie Rena Slaton

Ms.Leslie Rena Slaton, age 41, of Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016 following complications with diabetes.

She was born and raised in Gainesville, GA, but spent most of her adult life in Cumming, GA. She had worked as an Administrative Assistant for Agape Hospice care, and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Dawson County. She was a kind and loving person.

Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Frank Slaton.

She is survived by her mother, Melba Slaton, Gainesville, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lisa and Dell Smith, Flowery Branch, GA, Katrina and David Smith, Naperville, IL, and Jenny and Mark Meade, Cumming, GA; brothers, Kevin Tinsley, Cumming, GA, Avery Tinsley, Gainesville, GA, and Jerry Welch, Cumming, GA. Many nieces and nephews, and a number of other relatives also survive.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, October 13, 2016 at Hillside Chapel Funeral Home in Gainesville, GA.
