Barbara Ann Garrison Cable

Mrs. Barbara Ann Garrison Cable, age 80 of Lula, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at Hill Haven Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Antioch Holiness Church Cemetery.  Reverend Lee Koontz will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 6 – 8 pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cable was born September 22, 1936 in Lula, Georgia to the late Alter E. Garrison and Kate Alean Scales Garrison.  She was retired from Beaulieu of America and was a member of Mt. Airy First Baptist Church.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jessie H. Cable. 

Mrs. Cable is survived by her children, Keith Williams, Karen & Jimmy McCallister and Kathy & Mark Folwell, all of Lula, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and brothers & sisters-in-law, Edward & Mazel Garrison and Cecil & Martha Garrison, all of Lula.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
