Sandra Jean Holcomb Morris

Sandra Jean Holcomb Morris age 65 of Demorest, passed away Monday, September 26, 2016.

Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on April 7, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Howard Thomas and Myrtle Herbert Holcomb.  Mrs. Morris was a Dietary Supervisor with Habersham County Medical Center with 29 years of service and a member of Lamar Christian Church. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Morris was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and loved everyone she met.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Kay Holcomb.

Survivors include her husband, David Earl Morris of Demorest; son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan & Jennifer Morris of Demorest; grandchildren, Emily, Tyler and Amber Morris; brothers, Ricky Holcomb of Demorest and Tim Holcomb of Athens; sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda & James Edwards of Cornelia and Judy & Richard Turner of Demorest; loving pastor and nephew, Chad Holcomb of Baldwin; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will host an informal celebration of life and reunion meal for Sandra’s family and friends on Saturday, October 8, 2016 from 6-8 pm in the fellowship hall of Lamar Christian Church.
