Laurel Weir Mackenzie

Ms Laurel Weir Mackenzie age 56 of Dawsonville passed away on October 3, 2016.  Laurel was born in Terre Haute, Indiana and later moved to Florida where she resided until 2005, then moving to Georgia.  She was an artist who had a flair for entertaining guests, had a wonderful sense of humor and never met a stranger.  Laurel loved the Lord and was a member of Dahlonega Baptist Church.

Laurel is preceded in death by her father James Weir.

She is survived by her mother, Judith Weir of Dahlonega, brother Hal (Jennifer) Weir of Huntsville, AL; sister Kara (Michael) Fuscaldo of Coco Florida, nieces Jordan Fuscaldo Humphrey and Alexis Weir; and nephew Joey Fuscaldo.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
