L. B. Robinson

Mr. L. B. Robinson, age 87 of Gainesville, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016 at his residence following an extended illness.  

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.  Reverend Stacey Phillips and Reverend Clack Stubbs will officiate.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 from 6 – 9 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Robinson was born June 30, 1929 in Lebannon, Virginia to the late Lem Robinson and Lena Ruth Jessee Robinson.  He was retired from Hall County and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.  Lemuel was preceded in death by his parents, 2 grandchildren, 5 brothers and 5 sisters.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 69 years, Grace Robinson of Gainesville, his children, Vernon & Janie Robinson of Gainesville, Lenard & Gail Robinson of Gainesville, James & Cheryl Robinson of Dahlonega, Mike & Polly Robinson of Gainesville and Billy Robinson of Carnesville, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and sister, Frances Robinson of Paris, Tennessee.

The family wishes to thank all the nurses at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and Hospice of Northeast Georgia, for the wonderful care given to L. B.
