Melinda Jacobson

Melinda Jacobson, age 49, passed away Wednesday at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a brief illness.

 Melinda was born in Macon but had lived the last few years of her life in Cleveland and Helen- or paradise as she called it. 

 She is survived by her mother, Dianne Hogan (Sam); father, Emmett Leaptrot (Rachel); daughters, Stephanie White (Kerry) and Courtney Jacobson (fiancé, Jarrett Corley); sister, Denise Floyd; brother, Roger Leaptrot (Brenda); and granddaughter, Kaylee Grace White. 

 A Celebration of Melinda’s life will take place at 2:00 P.M. Sunday in the Chapel of Crest Lawn.  Reverend Andy Pickens will officiate.  Interment will be private. 

 Melinda’s legacy will continue to live on thanks to her selfless donation through LifeLink of Georgia.
