Eileen V. Thompson

Eileen V. Thompson, 88, of Gainesville, died Friday September 30, 2016

Eileen was born May 26, 1928  and grew up in Knoxville, Tennessee. 

She is survived by a son Lewis Monroe Wade, III and his wife Julie of Knoxville, Tennessee; a daughter, Melanie Wade Haley and her huband Bill of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren Will Haley and his wife, Emily Barker of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; Kathryn Haley Murray and her husband, Jack of Charlottesville, Virginia; a brother, Hubert Vickers of Clarkesville, Tennessee; great-grandchildren, Barnes, Gus, and Eleanor Haley; Latham and John Murray; Especially close to Eileen was her niece, Donna Capps Compton of Palm City, Florida She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date in her hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee.
