Mr. William Harrison Pruitt, age 81 of 127 Valley Road, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Pruitt Health Toccoa.
A son of the late Woodrow W. and Ruth Smith Pruitt, he was born October 14, 1934 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was the Owner/Operator of Pruitt Enterprises of Toccoa and was a member of Gateway Community Chapel. He participated in several mission trips to Mexico and Jamaica. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Michael Pruitt and Eddie Pruitt and by a brother, Wilson Pruitt.
Survivors include his wife of the home, Sandra Mobley Pruitt; son, Marvin Pruitt of Toccoa; two grandsons, Kevin and April Pruitt and Blake Pruitt; granddaughter, Mary Talor Pruitt; three great-grandchildren, Haylee, Kacin and Mary Anna; sister and brother-in-law, Mavis and Charles Dooley of Toccoa.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 27, 2016, 3 O’clock PM in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Don Scott and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Kevin Pruitt, Blake Pruitt, Kacin Pruitt, Craig Beatty, Bill Stovall, Tommy Whiten and Joe Cheek.

Entombment will follow in Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. William Harrison Pruitt.
