Wesley F. Ivie 56, of Winterville passed away Friday Sept. 23, 2016.
Mr. Ivie was born May 18, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Shelby Jean Sutton & the late Farrell Junior Ivie. He worked at Dupont as a beaming machine operator, and was a member of the Oglethorpe Avenue Church of Christ in Athens. He was preceded in death by his son, Bryson Ross Ivie and sister, Laura Nell Alericon.
Survivors include, daughter & son in law, Leslie Michelle & Daniel Williams, mother, Shelby Jordan, grandchildren, Christian, John, Jesse, JoyAnna, & Kimmie Renee, brother, Jon Timothy Ivie, sisters, Cynthia Denise Ivie & Suzanne Elizabeth Jordan. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday Sept. 27, 2016 at the Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Jeff Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Attica Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday at the funeral home.
