Charles Everett Fain, age 83 of Cleveland, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016.
Mr. Fain was born on August 13, 1933, in Cleveland, GA, to the late John Holland Fain and Lena Mae Allison Fain. He was a retired TSGT in the United States Air Force for 30 years serving in the Vietnam and Korean Wars. Mr. Fain was preceded in death by his siblings, Clifford Fain Sr., Eugene Fain, Allen Fain, J.S. Fain, Myrtle Barrett, Ellene Sisk, and Jessie Mae Colston.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ruthelene Humphries Fain; daughters and sons-in-law, Ginny and Jerry Davidson and Janette and Richard Lewallen; grandchildren, Brad and Josie Davidson, Katie and Justin Lovell, Brittney and Cody Ballenger, Kevin Davidson, Lisa Davidson, and Christi Lewallen; 10 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Edith and John Petitt and Margie and Marvin Brown; sisters-in-law, Hilda Fain and Sharon Winkler; favorite niece, Loretta Fain.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. Paul Flynn and Mr. Bruce Colston will officiate. Interment will follow at the Lawrence Family Cemetery with full military honors by the United States Air Force.
The family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
