Robert Roy Bryan, 48, of Suwanee passed away on September 22, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, William Bradford Bryan, Jr. Born in Atlanta on February 2, 1968, Roy was a graduate of Marist School and the University of Florida, where he received a B.S. in Economics. He was a member of Delta Chi fraternity and a HUGE GATOR FAN! Roy was the president of AMP Recruiting. Hobbies included college football, poker, and Mexican cheese dip.
Surviving are his mother, Elizabeth Perry Bryan, brother, William Bradford Bryan, III and sister, Rebecca Lane Bryan Brown. Roy leaves behind two children, Kempton Burkett Bryan and Maren Elizabeth Bryan and ex-wife Lori Gay Burkett along with nieces Jessica Bryan, Kayse Bryan and Victoria Brown and nephews Roger Brown and Wesley Bush. Lifelong best friends include Chuck Kelly, Todd Valentine, Bob Rowe, Stewart Calhoun , Gary Johnson, and David Phelps.
A memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Sunday, September 25 at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming Georgia. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pueblo Pintado Mission Trip Fund, Sugarloaf United Methodist Church, 1795 Old Peachtree Rd., Duluth, GA 30097.
