Ginger Paul, 61, of Dawsonville, Georgia went to be with our Lord on Friday September 16, 2016.
She was born on January 3, 1955 and was the most beautiful, caring wife, sister, aunt and friend to all that knew her. Ginger loved children most of all and was always there to care for any child, from her trunk load of snacks and drinks, to the spare bed in there. Through the years Ginger helped raise all the children she could. Ginger lived every day to the fullest, and was always looking to help someone in need. Her favorite vacation was to the beach with family, whether a quiet one with Jim or one with all the kids. Her second job was photography and whenever you saw her there was a camera nearby. She supplied her entire family with photos for many years. Ginger was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Clifford Dowd, mother, Marjorie Dowd, brothers, Jim Dowd and Carter Dowd, and a sister, Janice Dowd. Ginger was loved by all that ever met her and she will be dearly missed. We love you Ginger and God has received an angel like no other.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jim Paul; his mother, Faye Paul, and sister Wanda Paul, both of Salisbury, NC. She is also survived by her brothers, Lonnie Truelove, Monticello, GA, Bill (Linda) Dowd, Summerville, SC, Harold (Pam) Brown, Lawrenceville, GA, Doug (Beverly) Smith, Villa Rica, GA; sisters, Vicky (Sammy) Reese, Madison, GA, Debbie Dowd, Dawsonville, GA, Deanie (Craig) Koslica, Madison, WI, and many nieces, nephews, extended family that all adored her.
Services to rejoice in Ginger Paul’s life will be at the North Georgia Church, 74 Dill Lane, Dawsonville, GA 30534, of Tuesday September 20, 2016 at 11 a.m. Rev. Dale Crawshaw will officiate.
