Nellie Daniel

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday September 20, 2016 at Ward's Funeral Home Chapel for Nellie Daniel, age 79 of Gainesville. The Rev. Darryl Womack will officiate. Interment will follow at Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Ms. Daniel passed away Saturday September 17, 2016.

Ms. Daniel was born in Jackson County to the late George Daniel and Flora Strickland Daniel. She was employed for 48 years in retail sales and was a member of Montgomery Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roy Daniel, J.T. Daniel, Ralph Daniel, a baby sister and baby brother.

Survivors include aunt, Ruby Strickland, Gainesville, 3 nephews and her church family that has helped her through the years.
