Mrs.Candace Loraine Harris, age 57 was born May 31, 1959 in Clark County to Mrs. Mary Thomas Camp and the late Mr. Robert Stevens Sr. She departed this life after an extended illness on September 13, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Harris, and her sister Ms. Gloria Stevens Cantrell.
Mrs.Harris joined the Greater Timber Ridge Baptist Church at an early age, and later united with Gainesville Bethel Church of Nazarene. She worked many years in the poultry industry in Gainesville, GA. Mrs. Harris also was a well known member of the Gospel singing group, "The Stevens Family".
Mrs.Harris is survived by her mother Mary Camp; three children, Antonio (Chris) Buffington, George (Monique) Blackwell, Sonia (Timmy) Stanley; brother Willie (Shannon) Stevens; sister Sonia (Terry) Watson; long time friend Mr. Leroy Hopkins; ten grandkids, three great grandkids and a host of niece, nephews family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Antioch Baptist Church at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Bethel Church of Nazarene from 6:00 PM - 8:00PM. Professional Services Entrusted to Wimberly & Jackson Funeral Home.
