Robert Earl “Squirrel” Stephens

Mr. Robert Earl “Squirrel” Stephens, Age 88 of Toccoa passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Habersham Medical Center.

A son of the late Robert Lee and Ruth Shirley Stephens, he was born January 10, 1928 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran, was a business manager in retail sales and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a number of cousins and his caregiver, Robert Garland of Westminster, South Carolina.

Graveside services will be Friday, September 16, 2016, 2 O’clock PM at Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday from noon until service time.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will be in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Robert Earl “Squirrel” Stephens.
