James Lamar Wiley, Sr., age 87 of Carnesville, GA passed away Wednesday September 14, 2016.
Mr. Wiley was the son of the late A.B. and Bertha Ward Wiley and was the widower of Martha Tatum Wiley. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Jan Moor and Melissa Beatty.
Survivors include 2 sons, James L. Wiley, Jr., Carnesville, Donald W. Wiley, Commerce; brother, Carey Wiley, Carnesville; sister, Willadean Lewallen, Carnesville; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday September 17, 2016 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Duan Eller officiating. Burial will follow in Nails Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 pm Friday September 16, 2016 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Nails Creek Building Fund.
