Jimmie Lou Smith Jones

Mrs. Jimmie Lou Smith Jones, age 60 of Gillsville passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following a sudden illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 16, 2016 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jones was born on March 15, 1956 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Howard Smith and Berth Lou Gilstrap Smith. She was a homemaker and was of the Methodist Faith. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Tommy Jones.  

She is survived by her son, T.J. Jones of Atlanta, sisters, Judy Smith of Jefferson and Susie Cook of Gainesville.
