Fredrick (Fred) Eugene Garmon

Fredrick “Fred” Eugene Garmon, age 58, of Gillsville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Northeast Georgia Medical Center on Friday, September 9, 2016 from a sudden illness.

He was born on September 16, 1957 and was the son of Ernest & Eva Mae Garmon. He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Garmon, brother & sister-in-law, Leon & Patsy Garmon, and sister, Lilly Mae Garmon.

He is survived by his mother, Eva Mae Garmon, son & daughter-in-law, Justin & Jamie Garmon, daughters, Angie Burger & Jennifer Burger, brother’s & sister-in-law’s, Marshall & Sandra Garmon, Benny & Tina Garmon, Ted Garmon, grandchildren, Vincent & Dylan Garmon, Gage & Dylan Gowen, Elijah Mize & Teagan Pruitt. He also had a number of nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service for Fred on Sunday, September 18th, 2016 at 4pm at Liberty Baptist Church (7439 W. County Line Road, Lula, GA 30554.) The family will receive friends after the service at the church on Sunday.
