Helen Keen Kennedy Palmer

Mrs. Helen Keen Kennedy Palmer age 84 of 458 North Canal Bridge Road, Eastanollee passed away Saturday September 10, 2016 at Athens Regional Medical Center.

 

A daughter of the late William Joseph and Myrtle Thomas Kennedy, she was born on December 29, 1931 in Franklin County where she lived all of her life. A member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church and a member of the Sunshine Sunday School Class. She was preceded in death by her husband John Edwin Palmer, two brothers Bethel Kennedy, William Thomas Kennedy and two sisters Ethel Kennedy and Mae Dean Whitfield.

 

Survivors include four nephews James Alvin and Jennie Kennedy of Maysville, Georgia, Michael David and Pattie Kennedy of Toccoa, Randy and Wanda Whitfield of Eastanollee and David Wayne Whitfield of Eastanollee.

 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 13 at 11 A.M. at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church with the Reverend Wayne Marcus officiating. The family will be at the home on North Canal Bridge Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday from 7 P.M. to 9 P.M.

 

Interment will follow in the Tom’s Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
