Devoted son, brother, husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Robert Dean Forsee passed away Monday September 5th in his home peacefully after a ten year battle with Alzheimers.
He was born August 29th 1935 in Jonesboro Illinois to caring parents, Robert and Albertine Forsee. Putting himself through college, his three Masters Degrees were an example of his love of learning. He started programming computers using punch cards and by the end of his forty year career he had become fluent in over 20 computer languages.
He was a humble member of The United States Army and his ashes will be inurned in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton Georgia.
He is survived by his devoted and unfalteringly supportive wife of 55 years Jakie Forsee; his loving brother Billy Forsee and many loving nephews and nieces; his son and daughter-in-law Robert Forsee and Shelly Forsee; his daughters and sons-in-law Barrie Kromer and Peter Kromer, and Alicia Thompson and Danial Thompson; his son Matthew Forsee; his grandchildren Kurt Kromer, Stephanie Chandler, and Danielle Gibson as well as his great-grandchildren Caleb Chandler and Jillian Gibson.
He loved the ocean, dry humor, Disney World, and popcorn, but most of all he ceaselessly loved with all his heart and energies his wife and children.
A memorial will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, September 10th at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel, 210 Ingram Avenue, Cumming GA 30040.
