Alton C. Anderson

Alton C. Anderson, 71, of Dawsonville passed away Sunday September 4, 2016 at Emory Midtown Hospital following a short illness.

Born November 22, 1944 in Lumpkin County to the late Gordon and Fannie Anderson, he lived most of his life in Dawson County.  Mr. Anderson formerly worked as a brick mason and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.

Surviving are his daughter and son in law, Scarlet and Jeff Boyle, Carrollton; sister and brother in law, Bessie and Jimmy Harben, Dawsonville; three grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Thursday September 8, 2016 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Mark Biddy will officiate.  Interment will follow in Dawsonville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 2 until 8 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist with final expenses.
