Ola Mae Parker

Ola Mae Parker, 97, of Dahlonega, was granted her angel wings on Friday, September 2, 2016.  Her final days were spent surrounded by her family and friends after an extended illness.

Ola Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Parker.

She is survived by daughters and sons, Bernice Tipton, husband Verl, Gene Parker, wife Eula, Lizzie Yawn, Stanley Parker, wife Beth, and Sue Parker, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their thanks for the many years of help and care given by Annie Sue Cook and Eleanor Woodall, and the staff and nurses at Pruitt Health Hospice.

Visitation for Mrs. Parker will be Monday September 5, from 5-8 p.m. 

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 6, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home, Rev. John Rayburn officiating.  Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
