Elsbeth Helene Vance

Obituary Date: Monday, August 29, 2016

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away on August 29, 2016. To those who knew her she was a beautiful lady who loved her family, the arts, music and nature.

A native German, Elsbeth Helene Vance (Kienzl), met her future husband skiing in the German Alps where he was assigned to the 10th Special Forces in Bad Tolz.

She is survived by her spouse retired colonel Larkin “Bill” Vance, daughter Denise Vance-Noelle and husband Holger Noelle, brother Heinzpeter Kienzl and family, daughter-in-law Anne Vance and grandchildren Iain Vance, Eric Vance, Aidan Vance Noelle and Austin Julian Noelle.

In heaven she is reunited with her deceased son Gerhard Larkin Vance, siblings Gerlinde and Walter, and her parents.

Her twinkle in her eyes and her loving smile will look over us. The sun is a little less bright without her. You are gone but never forgotten.

We love you and miss you terribly.
