Thomas B. Gibson

Thomas B. Gibson, age 74, of Suwanee Georgia passed away peacefully and surrounded by his beloved family on Friday, September 26, 2016 at Northside Hospital after a courageous 9 year fight with renal cell cancer.  He was an upbeat and funny man who will be missed by his family and friends. 

He is survived by Kathleen his wife of 51 years,  his daughter Tracy Stroud (husband Ronnie),  son Christopher (wife Missy), daughter Kimberly Weatherly (husband Brent) his 7 grandchildren – Hunter, Davis and Taylor Stroud; Joy, Caroline, Samantha and Owen Weatherly; his sisters – Sally Harris, Susan Gibson, Mary Prescott and many nieces and nephews. 

His memorial service will be held Saturday, September 10 at 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit in Cumming, Georgia.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Outreach Ministry at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, P.O. Box 1010, Cumming, GA or to The Atlanta Cancer Foundation at 5670 Peachtree Dunwoody R., Suite 1100, Atlanta, GA.  Rest in Peace Gibby.
