Clyde R. Smith, Jr.

Clyde R. Smith, Jr., age 70, of Hoschton passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016.  Clyde was in the banking industry for over 40 years in Atlanta.  He was a member of Northeast Church in Braselton.  Clyde was a loving husband, son-in-law, father, grandfather and friend.  Survivors include his wife of 39 years Theresa Huckeba Smith; mother-in-law Jean Heitzman; son Scott Smith and wife Amy; daughter Wendy S. Smith and husband Blair; sister Kathy Riding; grandchildren Greyson Lee, Koby Smith, Natalie Smith and Lexy Smith and a host of other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde R. Smith, Sr. and Frances Hutto Smith; brothers Ed Smith and Ernest Smith and sister Margaret Ballard.  Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Friday, September 2, 2016 at Northeast Church, 2001 Cherry Drive, Braselton, GA, with Rev. Larry Askew and Rev.
