William “LeRoy” Roy Pirkle

Mr. William “LeRoy” Roy Pirkle, age 56, of Pendergrass passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at his residence, surrounded by family.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home with interment following at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Earl Pirkle will officiate.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Pirkle was born August 4, 1960 to Benjamin Roy Pirkle and the late Mary Alice Smith Pirkle in Gainesville.  He was of the Baptist Faith and had worked at ReConserve as a Truck Driver.  Mr. Pirkle was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Alice Smith Pirkle; and brother, Milton “Pete” Lee Pirkle.

Mr. Pirkle is survived by his wife, Yvonne Pirkle of Pendergrass; children, Amanda & Darrell Tullis of Jefferson, Natasha Sanders of Cleveland, Shane Cantrell of Atlanta and Autumn Cantrell of Pendergrass; grandchildren, Brianna Crumley, Sarah Tullis, Dylan Tullis, Amber Tullis, Rileigh Sanders, John Garrett Sanders, Michael Burnette, Shyanna Burnette, and Caleb Womack; siblings, Deborah Pirkle McFalls (Ven) of Augusta, Ruth Pirkle Sexton (Chad) of Lula, Beverly Pirkle McMillen (Bill) of Panama City, Florida, Teresa Pirkle Word of Loganville; and sister-in-law, Theresa Pirkle of Del Ray, Florida.
