Timothy Norris Shields, Sr.

 Mr. Timothy Norris Shields, Sr. age 53 of Gainesville passed away on Friday August 26, 2016 at his residence following a brief illness.

            Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday August 31, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend L.C. Teasley will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 30, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

            Mr. Shields was born on May 22, 1963 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Harvey Shields Jr. and Catherine L. Wilcoxson Shields. He was of the Baptist faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Shirley Ann Shields.

            He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline “Jackie” Smith Shields of Gainesville, daughter, Stacia Alexandria Shields of Gainesville, son, Timothy Norris Shields Jr of Gainesville, brother, Samuel (Lorraine) Shields of Gainesville, brother, Harvey (Caroline) Shields of Gainesville, sister, Shryl (Danny) King of Gainesville, and a host of nieces and nephews.
