Maximo Clavijo, 85, of Suwanee, GA died on August 23, 2016 at Northside Hospital Forsyth. Born in La Plaz, Bolivia he was the son of the late Jose and Juana Clavijo.
Mr. Clavijo retired from Storer Fabricating Company where he was a structural engineer. He attended St. Brendan Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by his family.
Mr. Clavijo is survived by his wife, Elsira Clavijo of Suwanee, GA; children, Maximo (Kathleen) Clavijo of Suwanee, GA, Juanita (Jack) Salo of Canton, GA, Gabriel Clavijo of Atlanta, GA, Daniel (Amy) Clavijo of Alpharetta, GA, Peter (Lynn) Clavijo of Cumming, GA, John (Penny) Clavijo of Dacula, GA and Jose Villanueva of New Mexico; sisters, Gaby Aguirre and Gloria Clavijo of Cumming GA; and 8 much-loved grandchildren.
Funeral mass will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at The Church of the Good Shepherd. Entombment will follow at Arlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 26 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
