Mary E. Gillespie of Gainesville, Ga., Died August 19, 2016, of an extended illness.
She was a native of Clarksville, Habersham County, Ga. She was the Daughter of the late Frank and Mary Sosebee.
Mrs. Gillespie was Preceded in death by her husband, William E. Gillespie, two brothers, Mitchell and Paul Sosebee, three sisters, Emma E. Revels, Frankie Mae Hunter, and Pauline (Polly) Chappell.
She leaves to cherish her memories three children: Frank Victor (Wanda) Sosebee, Carmen Elaine Sims, Tommie (Renee) Holland II. Grandchildren: Carlos Sims, Frank (Lalecia) Sosebee Jr., Tony (Tanima) Tanner III, Brandon Sims, Justin (Janene) Holland, and Bethany Holland.
Three Great-grand children: Kylay, Kayliegh, and Tony III, one sister, Morene Sosebee, God-Daughter Lolita Aikens and God-Son James (Kemp) Livingston.
Services will be held at The St. John Baptist Church, E.E. Butler Parkway, Gainesville, Ga., Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at 11:00 am
The family will receive friends Tuesday, August 23, at 7-8pm at The St. John Baptist Church, E.E. Butler Parkway, Gainesville, Ga. 30501. Pastors Eugene L. Green and Stephen P. Samuel will officiate, burial will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
