Mr. Tommy Gene Venable, age 76 of Nicholson died, Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Venable was born in Nicholson to the late, Carlton and Ollie Mae Adams. Mr. Venable was a small engine mechanic.
Mr. Venable is survived by his wife, Helen Geneva Ballenger Venable of Nicholson; daughter, Sondra Strickland of Center; sons, Gene Smith of Nicholson, Tim Venable of Nicholson, Barry Venable of Ila, Gary Venable of Ila, and John Venable of Nicholson; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held Monday, Aug. 22 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Carlton Peters and Rev. Carl Bergeron officiating with the interment following at Howington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 5-7 PM.
