Frank Junior Simpson

Mr. Frank Junior Simpson, age 80 of 189 Sunset Lane, Toccoa, Georgia passed away Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Stephens County Hospital.

A son of the late John and Ola Mae Brown Simpson, he was born January 23, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was employed with Trogdon Furniture Company for a number of years and was a member of Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Reed Simpson in 2003, daughter, Cheryl Smith and by a brother, Clyde Simpson.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Edward Simpson of Toccoa, Billy and Stephanie Simpson of Carnesville and Derick and Janice Simpson of Alto; three grandchildren, Kayla Wilson, Tyler Smith and Jodi Sosebee; five great-grandchildren, Kameron Sosebee, Matthew Wilson, Bentley Wilson, Hanna Wilson and Ashlee Wilson; brother, Roy Lee Simpson of Tococa; two sisters, Eula Mae Adams and Ollie Holcomb both of Toccoa.

Funeral services will be Thursday, August 18, 2 O’clock PM at the Rock Quarry Congregational Holiness Church with The Reverend Clarence Reynolds,  The Reverend John Umberhant and The Reverend Roy Lee Mitchell officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Walter Fricks, Lee Fricks, Jeffery Fricks, Richard Fulbright and Andrew Burgess.

The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, 6 PM until 8 PM.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.
