Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. Horace Daniel Jr., age 62, of Jefferson, Georgia who entered into rest Sunday, August 14, 2016.  Mr. Daniel was born in Jefferson, Georgia a son of the late Horace Daniel, Sr. and the late Lanell Moon Daniel.  Mr. Daniel was a member of Maxey Hill Baptist Church, and was known for the best BBQ in Jefferson, he loved to cook and feed people of the area.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Daniel is preceded by his son, Ali Daniel and sister June Lester.

Survivors include his lifelong partner, Linda Walter of Jefferson, daughter, “Lynn” Mary Lanell Fleming and her husband Marcus of Atlanta, son, Justin “Justman” Daniel of Jefferson.  Brother, Bobby Ray Daniel and his wife Robin of Jefferson.  Grandchildren, Marquita Fleming and Marquise Fleming and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, August 20, 2016 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home 12:00 – 1:00 P.M. prior to the service.
