Faye Cooke Wiltfang

Faye Cooke Wiltfang, 71, of Dawsonville passed away Friday August 12, 2016 at The Oaks at Limestone following a period of declining health.

Born April 14, 1945 in Roanoke Rapids, NC to the late Howard and Lillian Cooke, she had lived in Dawson County for the past several years.  Mrs. Wiltfang retired as a Mortgage Loan Officer for Bank of America after 27 years of service.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville where she sang in the choir.

Surviving are her husband, Burton Wiltfang, Dawsonville; sons, Gregory Sorrell, Sanford, FL, Matthew Sorrell, Ball Ground; sisters, Elaine Wilder, North Carolina, Jackie Brooks, North Carolina; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Sunday August 21, 2016 at 3 o’clock at the First Baptist Church of Dawsonville.  Dr. Jim Gaines will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 2 o’clock.
