Mrs. Betty Stewart age 71 of Gainesville passed away on Friday August 12, 2016 at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday August 15, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Jeff Crook and Reverend Sam Parsons will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday August 14, 2016 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stewart was born on June 21, 1945 in Hawkinsville, Ga to the late Phillip Elmore Johnson and Ovenie Ruth Gazaway. She was a homemaker and was a member of Blackshear Place Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Lee Stewart of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tiffany Stewart, son and daughter-in-law, John and Mary Stewart, sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Rondal Densmore, sister, Patricia Dean, brother, Robert Johnson, brother, Larry Johnson, 3 grandchildren, Kailey, Trent, and Matthew Stewart.
