Paul Odell Hanley, age 91 of Commerce, GA passed away Thursday August 11, 2016 at Northridge Medical Center.
Mr. Hanley was the son of the late Charlie Lee and Minnie Hanley. He served his country in the Army serving in WWII, after the war he enlisted in the Marines. He was retired from Sportswear Manufacturing and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Betty Ballard Hanley of Knoxville, TN; brothers, CL Hanley, Billy Hanley, and Bobby Hanley; and sisters, Cornelia Poe, Ruby Evans and Reba Minish.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Wilson Hanley of the residence; son, Andy and Sherry Allen, Nicholson; 2 daughters, Robin and Mark Fitzpatrick, Commerce, Janice and Ron McConnell, Knoxville, TN; sister, Jane Schwitz, Newnan; 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Saturday August 13, 2016 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shane Roberson and Mr. Mark Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Jackson Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 1-3 pm Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home.
