Evelyn Martin Samples

           Mrs. Evelyn Martin Samples age 80, lived most of her life in Hall County before moving to Forsyth County, passed away on August 10, 2016 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness. 
            Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Doug Forrester, Reverend Brody Hughes and Reverend Gary English will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 
            Mrs. Samples was born on August 26, 1935 in Cumming, Georgia to the late James Grady Martin and Annie Wheeler Martin. She was retired from Wrigley Company where she worked in the Accounts Payable and was a member of Community Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Husband, R.B. Samples, and brothers, Herbert Martin, Fred Martin, and Lawrence Martin. 
            She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert Benny and Teresa Samples of Gainesville, son and daughter-in-law, Charles Steve and Trish Samples of Gainesville, grand-daughter and husband, Julie and Joshua Satterfield of Gainesville, grand-son and wife, Kevin and Heather Samples of Braselton, grand-daughter and husband, Stephanie and Kelly Ward of Gainesville, great-grandchildren, Ellie and Will Satterfield.
