Marybelle Santangelo

Marybelle Santangelo, age 73 of Cornelia passed away August 9, 2016.  She was born in Gowanda, NY on September 06, 1942 to the late Ulysses G. and Pauline Sundown Scott.  Mrs. Santangelo worked for the legal department of the Seneca Nation of Indians.  She will be remembered as a Godly and loving woman who’s memory will be cherished by those who knew her.
Mrs. Santangelo was preceded in death by her parents as well as her brothers and sisters; Agnes Scott, Edwin Scott, Ulysses G. Scott Jr., Elaine Snow, Eileen Scott, and Armenia Scott.  She is survived by son, Pasquale Santangelo Jr. (Paula); daughter, Deborah Santangelo, Holly Redeye, and Rebecca Collier; sisters, Lucille A. Tonemah, and Arlette J. Gioffreda; granddaughter Jesyka Dockery (Brian); as well as numerous other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and Molly her beloved dog.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 12 until 2 PM.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 2 PM with the Rev. Charlie Pugh officiating.  Interment will be held at the Woodlawn Community Cemetery.
