John James “Big John” Boswell age 74 of Maysville passed away Sunday August 7, 2016 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Big John was born June 17, 1942 in Gainesville to the late John Perino & Ola Mae Carroll Boswell. Big John was a trucker and was preceded in death by his wife Geraldine Hardy Boswell, and siblings, Herman Boswell & Martha Lewis.
Survivors include, daughter, Elizabeth Rico of Homer, brothers, Otis Boswell of Maysville, Norman Boswell of Maysville & Glenn Boswell of Arcade, sister, Joyce Wilson of Alto, grandchildren, Justin Medders, Nic Medders, Myki Rico, great grandchildren, Jackson Medders, Braylon Medders, Easton Medders, & Levi Medders, nephew, Eric Hardy of Maysville.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Jackson memorial Park with Rev. Clay Hardy officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-9 Monday night at the funeral home.
