David Moore Goodman, Sr

Mr. David Moore Goodman, Sr., 82 of Gainesville died Thursday August 4, 2016.

Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Goodman was the son of the late Harry James Goodman, Sr., and Maude Moore Goodman. He had lived in Hall County since 1969 and was retired from Bell-Minor Nursing Home where he had worked in administration for a number of years. 

Survivors include his wife, Janet Green Goodman, Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Alisha and John Browning, Cleveland;  son and daughter-in-law, Brent and Laura Goodman, Peachtree City;  sons, Craig Goodman, Braselton and David Goodman, Jr., Gainesville.  Grandchildren, Tyler Goodman, Libby Goodman, McKenzie Browning, Emma Browning, Mattie Grace Browning, Kinsley Goodman, Karis Goodman.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday August 7, 2016 at the Alta Vista Cemetery.  Gary Green will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Saturday August 6, 2016 from 4-6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested  that memorial contributions be made to the American Stroke Association, 821 Dawsonville Highway, Suite 250-323, Gainesville, Ga. 30501.
