Lex Wesley Money

Lex Wesley Money, 8, of Commerce went home to be with Jesus Christ on Friday August 5, 2016.

Born in Gainesville, Lex had lived in Habersham and Bank Counties for a number of years. He was a student of Georgia Cyber Academy and attended Cross Roads Church of God in Commerce.

Survivors include his parents, DeAnn and John Money, Commerce; brother, Lane Money, Commerce; brother and sister-in-law, Logan and Tonya Money, Cumberland Gap, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law, Ashley and Corey Sedlock, Knoxville, Tennessee; paternal grandmother, Wilma Money, Commerce; maternal grandparents; JoAnn and Jim Cantrell, Clermont; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members also survive.

Lex is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John M. Money; maternal grandfather, Gary Escoe and uncle, Gary Escoe, Jr.

Celebration of life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday August 8, 2016 in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Gary Thompson and Rev. Ed Seay will officiate. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday August 7, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00  p.m. and again Monday August 8 from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
