Patricia Marie Spence "Pat" Norris passed away on August 1st, 2016 at her home in Cleveland, Georgia. She was born February 16th, 1945 in Bradley, Arkansas. Ms. Pat married her soul mate and best friend, James Taylor "Jim" Norris, on February 7th, 1965 after lassoing her way into his heart.
She was the loving mother of son, Taylor Norris and his wife Michaela of Danbury, TX and daughter, Carol Pitts and husband Stephen of Franklin, NC. Ms. Pat will be remembered as a loving grandmother, or ‘Meme’, to Reagan Norris, Savannah Mansour, and Jacquelyn Bruun, and great grandmother to Graham Norris. She is also survived by brothers Roy and Jessie Spence and many nieces and nephews that she loved so much.
Ms. Pat is preceded in death by her parents Roy Lee and Bertha Mae Spence, her brother Clyde Spence, and her sisters Virginia Spence Autry and Billie Jean Spence Hill.
Ms. Pat was friend to many and will live on in the hearts of all those that she touched. We will never forget her laugh or her smile, her warmth, hospitality, and sass, her faith, her love for family and friends, and more than anything, her strength and grace. She persevered all throughout her life and until the very end. We invite you to join us to celebrate this beautiful woman and the touching life she lived, on August 13th at 4pm at Mountain Lakes Resort, Cleveland GA. With barbeque and covered dish to follow.
