Stanley Roberts Daugherty

Stanley Roberts Daugherty, 80, of Cumming, GA died on July 28, 2016.  Born in Monticello, KY he was the son of the late Stanley and Bert Daugherty.

Stanley attended Monticello High School and then served in the US Army for four years.  He graduated from John Marshall Law School and owned the Credit Rating Bureau, Inc.  Stan was an avid golfer and lived life to the fullest. A loving husband, father and grandfather he will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.  Above all, his family and faith were what mattered most to him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marva Daugherty of Cumming, GA; children, Rob and Jean Daugherty of Castle Rock, CO, Dr. Angela and Dr. Kyle Fogel of Sugar Hill, GA, Ryan Daugherty of Cumming, GA, Lisa and Ricky Novak of Cumming, GA  and Shawn and Dylan Daugherty of Cumming, GA; brother, John and Maureen Daugherty of Roswell, GA; sister, Mary Jo Swank of Roswell, GA; and much-loved grandchildren, Lucas Daugherty, Skyler Daugherty, Sloane Daugherty, Isabella Fogel, Jacob Fogel, Aidan Novak and Griffin Daugherty.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Roswell, GA.  Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Friday, August 5 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
